Co-Founder of EKOS International. Russell has for the past 26 years served as a lead consultant to the top management teams at many of N. America's most well-known companies. Typically working with the mandate to help move each client into a global leadership position, he has led clients to understand global best practices, design comprehensive strategies, and successfully execute multi-year transformations. His major personal clients have included Best Foods, Boeing, Burlington Northern Santa Fe, Darigold, Milliken (Baldrige winner), Northern Telecom, SmithKline Beecham, Telus, U S West, Weyerhaeuser; firm's clients have included Alberta Power, American Express, Ballard Power Systems, CPC International, Hilton Hotels, Johnson & Johnson, Microsoft, Nabisco.

From 1986-1994, he was one of four Partners of Deltapoint, regarded as America's most knowledgeable management consulting firm about Japanese Management Systems. Russell helped lead the firm from four to 40 people, with breakthrough results for clients. He has led 12 Executive Study Missions: 10 to Japan, with in-depth analyses of 40 of Japan's best (mostly Deming-Prize-winning) companies - and two to Europe, extensively benchmarking 32 of Europe's leaders in Strategic Sustainability.

Russell is a member of the original group of trainers who have helped bring The Natural Step to the United States. Since 1996, Russell has presented TNS to hundreds of companies and individuals (including NIKE, Mitsubishi, Collins Pine, Monsanto, SC Johnson, Washington Department of Ecology), has presented at the TNS Advanced workshop, and has personally benchmarked a dozen TNS companies in Europe.

Russell has been the Keynote Speaker at numerous national and international conferences, and is co-author of the book, Mapping the Journey: Case Studies in Implementing Sustainable Development Strategies. He holds a Ph.D. and MA in Organizational Psychology, from the University of Oregon, and a BA in Social and Behavioral Sciences, from Johns Hopkins University. Russell was an award-winning instructor at the University of Oregon, teaching research methods, organization change, and organization effectiveness.

Co-founder of EKOS International. Cynthia Figge's expertise is in sustainability and in new venture development as an executive for major North American companies for over 20 years. Cynthia's clients include Alaska Air Group, American Public Media, Arrowsmith Technologies (biotech start-up), Boeing, Ballard Power Systems, Burlington Northern Santa Fe, Coca-Cola, Covalence Corporation, Dow Jones, Hewlett Packard, Methodologie, Microsoft, Premera Blue Cross, and REI. Cynthia is also President, COO and Cofounder of CSRHUB [http://www.csrhub.com/], a startup website that aggregates and organizes data and knowledge on the social, environmental, and governance performance of over 5,000 companies to provide ratings to the marketplace.

Prior to founding EKOS, Cynthia pioneered the development of wireless broadband data broadcasting as an officer of McCaw Cellular/LIN (now AT&T), was Operations Team Leader with the startup team for Weyerhaeuser’s first oriented strand board plant mill, directed new services as part of the turnaround team for the New York Daily News, and assisted nonprofit organizations in New York City start for-profit ventures to support their mission with the firm New Ventures.

Cynthia is Past Board President of Sustainable Seattle, and Advisor to Strategic News Service. She was a speaker at the recent SNS Future in Review Conference in Los Angeles, Sustainable Brands Conference, and SRI in the Rockies Conference in Whistler, BC.

Cynthia received her bachelor's degree in Economics from Lawrence University, and a Masters in Business Administration from the Harvard Business School.
